DEPARTMENT CO-ORDINATOR – ONSITE AUCTION DEPARTMENT


Lawsons Auctioneers are seeking expressions of interest for the following role:
Department co-ordinator – Onsite Auction Department

The Onsite Auction Department is a fast paced and dynamic department that requires a strong Administrator to join its team.
The department regularly holds sales in clients homes and curates single owner collections for sale in our Leichhardt rooms.
This busy role requires someone with well proven administration skills, who can manage all of the operational requirements for this team of four.

Essential criteria:

- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- An excellent problem solver with a calm and methodical approach to such
- Ability to think ahead and manage an interactive diary for the team
- Driver’s license and own vehicle essential
- Ability to travel away from Sydney as and when required

Regarded Criteria:

- Experience in the Fine Arts/Auction house arena
- Experience in the Real Estate industry
- Experience in the Retail/Events Management industries

This role will be hands-on and physically demanding at times. Potential candidates should not be afraid to role up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.

This role is a full-time role and is effective from Monday 10th January 2022 subject to a three month probationary period, however casual employment may be considered for the remainder of 2021.

FRONT OF HOUSE / RECEPTION
 
Lawsons are looking for a person to join our front of house team.
A successful applicant would ideally have:
 
Exceptional customer service skills.
The ability to work well within a team.
The ability to adapt in an ever changing environment.
Competency with computers.
 
You would be responsible for answering phones and emails from existing and prospective clients as well as assisting and guiding prospective buyers through the auction process with Lawsons.
 
This is a full time position, the hours would be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
We will provide all job specific training that you would need including knowledge of our auction specific software.
